Canon Discovery Day
BEGINNER: Enter the world of the digital SLR and learn about your camera, and how to make great pictures with it. We'll take you out of "automatic", but we won't overload you with too much detail. You'll see many examples of great photography, and learn techniques to use exposure, composition, flash, and a variety of lenses to get the same types of results. Our Basic Discovery Day class is a three-hour investment in your EOS digital SLR that will pay dividends over and over as you grow with your camera system.

INTERMEDIATE: If you're a more experienced SLR user, this three-hour session is your ticket to learning about the more sophisticated features of your EOS camera. We'll take you to the next step in crafting great photographs, with details about the advanced controls in your camera and how to use them in real-life situations. Many examples of great images bring the camera's features to life in this event. We'll demystify your camera's histogram, give details about lighting and exposure control, and show the power that the right lenses and EOS Speedlites can bring to your photography.

Digital Photography 101
The two night class will consist of two, one and a half hour session, which is designed for everyone that owns a digital single lens reflex camera. This class is for beginners to intermediate students and will cover exposure, shutter speeds, aperture, iso, lighting, composition, depth of field, and overall camera instruction. Cost for this class is $75.00. Classes will fill up fast, so call to reserve your spot today. Class starts at 6:15.
Beginner's Guide to Nikon Digital SLR Photography
Have you experienced not getting the shots you want? Do you wish your family photos were breathtaking? If so, then this seminar is for you! Advanced Guide to Nikon Digital SLR Photography
If you are passionate about photography and intrigued by high-end technology, then this seminar on Nikon Digital SLR cameras is for you! Spend two hours with a Nikon Representative learning about the advanced features, menus, and controls and see what all of the "buzz" is about with Nikon DSLR cameras such as the D90 (Advanced Users), D300s, and D700. Studio Portrait & Lighting Seminar
Join us for a Special Studio Portrait and Lighting interactive workshop. We will be demonstrating how the many of the wireless flash systems operate, as well as a demonstration of a couple different shooting and editing software programs. You will have a chance to see all the different cameras and lenses we sell here in the shop in a live photo shoot and then take turns trying out the equipment yourself. You will learn which lenses should be used in portrait settings and how to get fantastic portrait shots. Models will be present to pose for portraits and create a professional studio shooting experience.
