How do you get involved?
Each month, The Photo Center will present you with a topic to shoot. Your photo will be uploaded to our Facebook Fan Page for all to see and critique. At the end of each month, the staff here at The Photo Center will get together and vote on our favorite submissions.
July is going to be special for us. This month, for every photo that we receive in submission to the contest (up to 100), we will be donating $1 to Ocean of Love, a local organization that helps out children with cancer and their families.
The winner of our contest will be named on The Photo Center’s website (www.ThePhotoCenter.com) as “The Photo Center’s Photographer of The Month”. The winner will also be proudly displayed at The Gallery 13 in Asbury Park as our photo contest winner. Lastly, a special/exciting prize this month includes a ticket to the Full Day Seminar hosted by Tamron. In consideration of this great prize, we are basing our contest theme around their seminar.
To enter the contest, you must email an original photo, to thephotocenter.contest@gmail.com. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible. Photographs must be in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. You may use image-editing software only to ENHANCE your photo, NOT to change the photo's composition.
The contest is free to enter, but you must be over 16 years of age. One entry per photographer please.
By entering the contest, you’re allowing The Photo Center to publish and display your photo in store and/or on The Photo Center’s website and Facebook Fan Page. Photographs will appear on the The Photo Center’s Facebook Fan Page. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit. You retain the rights of your photo.
