David Guy Maynard Live Model Shoot
David Guy Maynard is an accomplished commercial photographer with a diverse background in nature, macro, advertising, and fashion photography. He applies creative and unique techniques to a variety of situations, which he shares in his seminars.
David will be joining us on August 12th & 13th to shoot LIVE models and share his portrait photography tips and techniques. In addition to the lecture, Tamron will be in attendance on the 13th at The BDC Studio, providing us with various lenses to demo. This seminar is loaded with practical and useful information for both working photographers and hobbyists.

Canon Sports Photography Day
We are excited to announce our first annual Canon Sports Photography Shooting Event. A full day of fun, photo tips, and shooting with the same Canon Professional 2.8 telephoto lenses that you see on the sidelines at professional sporting events.
Join The Photo Center and Canon at The Lakewood Blueclaws Stadium in Lakewood, NJ on August 15th. The day will feature a tour of the stadium and a chance for you to shoot up to three innings in the photo pit next to the dugout. Blueclaws Official Photographer, Dave Schofield will be on hand to teach you some valuable photo techniques and oversee the event. When you’re not shooting in the photo pit, you can enjoy your lunch, provided by The Blueclaws, and spend the rest of the day shooting photos in and around the stadium as well as watching the game.

Digital Photography 101
July 14th and July 21st, June 28th, August 4th, August 11 And 18th
The two night class will consist of two, one and a half hour session, which is designed for everyone that owns a digital single lens reflex camera. This class is for beginners to intermediate students and will cover exposure, shutter speeds, aperture, iso, lighting, composition, depth of field, and overall camera instruction. Cost for this class is $75.00. Classes will fill up fast, so call to reserve your spot today. Class starts at 6:15.

Nikon D90 instructional class
The Nikon D90 camera class will be held on Thursday, March 4th at the Hilton Garden Inn 1885 route 70, Lakewood NJ. The class starts at 7pm and will be approximately 2 hours long. Chris Knapp, Nikon’s technical representative will be your instructor. Chris will cover the entire operation of the Nikon D90, so that you will totally understand how to maximize the use of your Nikon camera. We recommend that you bring your camera to the class. Nikon Studio Portrait & Lighting Seminar
Join us next class (announced soon) for a Nikon Studio Portrait and Lighting interactive workshop. Nikon’s technical representative Chris Knapp will be demonstrating how the Nikon wireless flash system operates, as well as a demonstration of Camera Control Pro and Capture NX2 shooting and editing software. You will have a chance to see all the different Nikon cameras and lenses in a live photo shoot and then take turns trying out the equipment yourself! Models will be present to pose for portraits and create a professional studio shooting experience. The fee for the class is $49.99. Tickets should be purchased in advance at The Photo Center.
